MY STORY:
✨Back in 2016, I went through a rough period in my life and was continually stressed, upset and detached. I joined a group where we met up each week to meditate – we walk barefoot on the grass and we sit in silence for 10mins. I discovered techniques to slow down, tame the monkey mind and become more aware of my surroundings, my thoughts, and my responses. It is an ongoing practice for me. Some days are great and some days still challenging.
Mindfulness has positively affected my overall wellbeing. It has helped me cope with the daily stress and overwhelm, and live life with awe and gratitude.
I am hoping to share this to more people so I created this Canva template that can help anyone who’d like to start a mindfulness practice, or would like to share this to their communities.
